Key responsibilities:
• Perform design verification studies to ensure compliance with IEC/AS 61439 standards, including Strength of material, dielectric, thermal and short-circuit verification.
• Develop and maintain compliance documentation, including test reports, certifications, and technical files.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the design & estimation team to ensure compliance is integrated into the design process.
• Train and educate the estimation team on compliance and design verification
• Investigate and resolve compliance-related issues
• Establish systems and tools to streamline and automate the design verification process.
Qualifications & Skills/Requirements:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Electrical Industry preferably in compliance/consultancy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage compliance-related projects and deadlines
- Ability to communicate compliance requirements clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work on Australian work hours and calendar
- Experience in reading, understanding, and interpreting the technical requirements and standards, and regulations is an added advantage.
