We welcome passionate warriors and are currently looking for a Senior Risk, Payments & Fraud Analyst
What You'll Be Doing:
- Investigate, detect and prevent all instances of fraud, suspicious activity or promo abuse associated with our product range
- Closely monitor account activity, accounting paperwork, payments and transactional records to detect potential fraudulent patterns
- Carry out daily reviews of documentation as well as collation of evidence from internal and external sources
- Build relationships with key payment processors, both internally and externally
- Check for possible downtimes and communicating it out to processors internally and externally
- Monitor real-time queues and identify high-risk transactions within the business portfolio, along with approval and denial rates
- Review customer transactions to identify fraudulent activity such as account take over, friendly fraud, theft or similar risks
- Resolve discrepancies with processors regarding transactions due to scheduled and unscheduled downtimes
- Interact with processors and customers to validate information and to confirm or cancel authorizations
- Resolve customer issues within the scope of existing service level agreements
- Develop analytical models to improve efficiency and effectiveness of company systems
- Ensure confidentiality of all information collected during investigation
- Determine existing fraud trends by analysing accounts and transactional patterns
- Identify innovative anti-fraud processes/tools to prevent and tackle risky behaviour
- Report to managers on account history, suspicious activity, risk management and processors activity to take appropriate action when required
- Manage the registration of clients’ documents, identifying and verifying new and existing customers using verification tools and methodologies
- Request documentation to prove the identity of the client and/or the origin of deposited funds
- Handle numerous customer requests related to withdrawals, while verifying source of balances, documentation and payment methods
What We're Looking For in the Ideal Candidate:
- Analytical and detail-oriented analyst with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in payments and fraud with exposure to cases/situations/ways of working
- Strong communication skills - fluency in English is required
- Experience in the online gaming industry
- Familiarity with online fraud detection systems - PaymentIQ is a big plus
- Comprehension of documentation checks to identify fraud and suspicious behaviour
- Conscientious, passionate and dedicated to preventing fraud in all its guises
- Organised, self-driven, energetic and proactive profile
- Ability to learn new systems / technology / applications quickly
- Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team particularly in high-stakes situations
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- Positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
