Position: Senior Compliance Officer
Are you an experienced Compliance professional with a strong background in ensuring organizational adherence to legal regulations and ethical standards? We are looking for a Senior Compliance Officer with more than 5 years of hands-on expertise to join our team. Role Overview:
As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will lead the charge in maintaining our organization's compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards. Your deep understanding of the compliance landscape, coupled with your analytical mindset, will allow you to shape and implement effective procedures and instructions. Your role will encompass monitoring compliance, offering expert guidance to various functions, and fostering a culture of awareness through training initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Stay abreast of national and international developments that impact laws and regulations.
- Translate complex laws and regulations into clear and actionable procedures and instructions.
- Monitor adherence to established procedures and instructions.
- Provide expert advice to the branch network, central services, and local compliance functions.
- Elevate staff awareness through well-designed training programs and effective communication strategies.

Detailed Job Description:
Your role will be situated within the compliance domain of corporate governance. You will oversee a range of critical topics, including compliance governance (charter & integrity policy), conflicts of interest, outsourcing, fit & proper, incompatibility of mandates, mandates of employees, remuneration, and complaints handling. Your responsibilities will include updating relevant policies, offering valuable guidance to the business, and preparing necessary reporting. Substantial prior experience in compliance, specifically related to the majority of these topics, is essential. While a basic understanding of GDPR is advantageous, it's not mandatory for this role.
