Role Overview:
Join our team as a Compliance Officer – Validation at Stanley College, where you'll manage and oversee the validation process for our VET and Professional Year Program courses. You’ll ensure compliance with ASQA standards, work closely with Faculty Managers, and maintain our validation register. This role is perfect for someone with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain effective validation policies and processes to meet regulatory requirements
• Provide staff with guidance on validation policies, procedures, and templates to ensure seamless compliance across faculty operations
• Stay up-to-date on compliance updates from ASQA and PYP regulatory bodies, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation
• Support Faculty Managers, Trainers, and staff in understanding and adhering to validation compliance policies
• Oversee the Stanley College five-year validation register, ensuring full compliance with regulatory frameworks
• Manage the validation risk assessment process and maintain the validation schedule, updating the register annually
• Complete preparation tasks for all scheduled validations, including documentation, evidence gathering, and communication
• Participate in full validations as an independent observer
• Manage records for all validation activities, ensuring documentation is complete and stored appropriately
• Monitor pre-validation activities across faculties, ensuring compliance and timely completion
• Oversee continuous improvement processes, ensuring corrective actions are completed and recorded
• Conduct internal compliance audits related to the quality of assessment tools and resources, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards
• Prepare reports for the VET Council to provide clear oversight of validation activities and outcomes
• Assist external auditors during compliance assessments and ensure accurate evaluations
• Identify compliance issues and develop action plans to address them
• Report any compliance breaches to Senior Management for prompt action
About You:
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel Skills: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data management and reporting.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in all tasks.
• Organisational Skills: Well-developed organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently.
• Desirable Qualification: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
