What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
You will oversee group-wide compliance, governance, and corporate secretarial duties. This includes managing annual general meetings, drafting resolutions, maintaining share registers, coordinating risk management, and keeping corporate documents current and accurate. You’ll ensure compliance with legal and regulatory changes, register as the Information and Company Secretary for the group, and maintain various policy registers. By driving best practices and supporting executive leadership, you’ll be an integral part of fostering a culture of accountability and compliance.
Where you’ll be doing it
You will be joining an esteemed company known for enhancing guest travel experiences while maximizing revenue to support conservation and community initiatives. This role is mainly office based in Claremont. For the first few months, you will be 100% office based but thereafter, you’re able to work 2 days from home.
What you’ll need
You’ll need at least 5 years of corporate experience, an LLB degree (or equivalent), and a strong grasp of CIPC processes, including proficiency in the CIPC eServices site. Your expertise in corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks will be critical, along with your ability to draft, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures. A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment are key attributes for success in this role.
