ITnova is seeking an experienced
Microsoft Windows Azure Architect with a strong technical background in designing and setting up cloud environments for large enterprise organizations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services and solutions, a proven track record of implementing scalable and secure cloud architectures, and the ability to guide organizations through their cloud transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Architecture Design: Develop and implement Azure-based solutions tailored to meet enterprise requirements for scalability, performance, and security.
- Environment Setup: Lead the setup and configuration of enterprise cloud environments, including provisioning resources, configuring virtual networks, and deploying workloads.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and technical expertise on cloud strategies, including hybrid and multi-cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Automation and Optimization: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Bicep, or Terraform to automate deployments and streamline cloud operations.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that cloud solutions adhere to industry best practices for security and compliance, including data encryption, identity management, and governance policies.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with development teams, IT operations, and business stakeholders to align cloud initiatives with enterprise needs.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish monitoring solutions and tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to track system performance and optimize resource utilization.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed architectural documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer.
- Troubleshooting: Act as a subject matter expert in resolving complex cloud infrastructure issues and provide support during incident response scenarios.
Qualifications: - Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years in IT infrastructure and cloud solutions.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience setting up enterprise-grade environments, including networking, storage, compute, and security configurations.
- Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (required).
- Additional certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of Azure services, including Azure AD, Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, and Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience:
- Successfully designed and deployed Azure environments for enterprises with complex needs.
- Experience with migrating on-premises workloads to Azure.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning in Azure.
Work Environment:
- Location: remote.
- Schedule: Full-time, with occasional after-hours support as needed.
- Travel: 15% of travel required.
