About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with a strong background in Azure services to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of overall experience in data architecture, with 5-6 years of focused expertise in Azure cloud technologies, including Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps (ADO), Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2), and SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Architecture & Strategy:
Design and implement scalable data architecture solutions that align with business needs and technological advancements.
Develop and maintain data models, databases, and data pipelines that ensure data integrity, security, and performance.
Define data management strategies and best practices, ensuring compliance with data governance and security standards.
Azure Services Expertise:
Leverage Azure Databricks for big data processing, machine learning, and analytics workloads.
Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) for CI/CD pipeline integration, enabling seamless deployment and management of data solutions.
Implement data integration workflows using Azure Data Factory, orchestrating data movement and transformation across various sources.
Design and manage data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2), ensuring efficient data access and management.
Optimize and manage SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability and performance for mission-critical applications.
Collaboration & Leadership:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business objectives.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and integrating them into the existing architecture where appropriate.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, driving efficiency and scalability in data operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10-12 years of overall experience in data architecture, data management, and related fields.
5-6 years of hands-on experience with Azure services, specifically Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps (ADO), Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2), and SQL Server.
Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient data architecture solutions in cloud environments.
Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in an Agile environment, with familiarity with Scrum or other Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer) are highly desirable.
Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
Knowledge of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI integration is advantageous.
