This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional to join a family-owned business experiencing growth and expansion. The ideal candidate will bring proven sales experience, ideally in building materials, to drive expansion and foster lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Expansion: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the designated territory.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong, enduring relationships with clients.
Market Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of glass and building materials, staying ahead of trends to enhance service offerings.
Revenue Growth: Drive steady growth through strategic sales efforts and proactive lead generation.
Reporting: Regularly track and report sales progress and client feedback to senior management.

Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years in business development or sales, ideally within the building materials sector (e.g., glass, granite).
Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Assets: Proficiency in golf is advantageous for networking and building client relationships.
Education: A degree or relevant certification in business, sales, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $110,000 per year
Commission: 2% on new business
Benefits: Mileage reimbursement, cell phone, and home office expense reimbursement

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote-based with a flexible schedule but requires occasional visits to the Burnaby, BC, office.
