Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

Job description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our systems.

Design, implement, and manage cloud-native infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Architect and maintain microservices infrastructure while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications.
Implement and maintain GitOps practices using ArgoCD for continuous deployment
Design and implement database solutions across multiple platforms (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL).
Incorporate security best practices (DevSecOps) throughout the infrastructure lifecycle.
Drive and improve SDLC and SSDLC practices across development teams.
Implement security controls and best practices at each phase of the SDLC.
Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability.
Monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
Strong expertise in AWS cloud services and architecture patterns.
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code using:
- Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure provisioning
- Git for version control and collaboration.
Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices:
- GitHub Actions
- Jenkins
- ArgoCD
Strong container orchestration skills:
- Amazon EKS management and optimization
- Kubernetes cluster administration
- Helm chart development and management
- Container security
Database administration experience:
- PostgreSQL
- MySQL
- Microsoft SQL Server
DevSecOps expertise:
- Security scanning and vulnerability management
- Compliance automation
- Secret management
- Infrastructure hardening
Strong understanding of SDLC and SSDLC methodologies:
- Agile and DevSecOps practices
- Security requirements gathering
- Threat modeling
- Secure code review processes
- Security testing integration
- Security documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Professional level certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
Experience with cloud-native monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana).
Knowledge of Python, Bash, or Go programming.
Familiarity with GitOps principles and practices.
History of contributing to infrastructure automation projects.
