Job Summary:

The IT Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for tasks such as coordinating and executing system migrations, providing administration and maintenance of end-user computers, and implementing software updates.

Essential Functions of the Position:

Support, monitor and maintain servers (cloud or local), desktop systems, applications, firewalls, switches, routers ensuring industry best practices to meet business objectives. Ensures all PAQ production systems, databases, files servers etc. are properly backed up and tested per PAQ IT policies.
Manage MSP and establish proper key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure they meet or exceed performance goals and act as an escalation level for items the MSP may need assistance with.
Establish, maintain, and document information security roles and access privileges for all organizational IT assets. Perform security audits and performance monitoring to ensure minimized outages to business operations.
Develop and maintain all necessary documentation for all network systems and settings per industry best practices and as directed.
Participate in planning and makes recommendations for infrastructure strategies and architecture to align to business priorities and project needs.

Report on system performance metrics and project progress to senior management.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience working with networking, IP Telecommunication networks, protocols, standards, QoS and operations is required (5+ years preferred).
Significant Experience with Microsoft Desktop, Server, and Cloud-based Technologies is required (5+ years preferred).
Experience administering and supporting AWS or Azure cloud environment (2+ Years Preferred).
Experience in Office365 and Microsoft 365 administration (2+ years).
Experience with Identity and Access Management (2+ years)
Experience with leading Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technology (2+ years)

Experience working in an environment supporting internal customers using service desk. (3+ years).

Aptitude for making informed decisions quickly, often in high-pressure environments.
Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and changing business requirements.
Must have Positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working in an upbeat environment

Physical Requirements:

A significant portion of the day is spent sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must handle paperwork, files, and documents, including lifting, carrying, and organizing paperwork as needed.
Proficiency in using typical office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, fax machines, and printers.
Ability to perform tasks that require fine motor skills, such as using a keyboard, writing, or handling small objects.

Work Hours: Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays, as needed.
Environment: Indoor, climate-controlled, with adequate lighting and ventilation.
Primary Work Stations: Dedicated workspace designed to minimize distractions, allowing for concentration on tasks.
Dress Code: Business casual attire, flexible for more formal or relaxed dress depending on company events or meetings.
Exposure: May be exposed to electrical and lighting hazards.
Noise Level: Usually low to moderate.
Interaction: Constant interaction with team members in an office environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience required.
Experience: Over five years of experience is required.
