Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to produce scalable software solutions. As a Software Engineer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries.

Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement applications to support business requirements.
Follow approved lifecycle methodologies, create design documents, and perform program coding and testing.
Manage the complete software development process from conception to deployment.
Maintain and upgrade the software following deployment.
Manage the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications.
Demonstrate a high-degree of creativity, finding solutions where others may see roadblocks.
Modify and test changes to previously developed programs.
Work with other team members.
Design and implement both front-end and back-end applications to a high standard.
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure software designs meet all their requirements.
Write documentation for software you have developed.
Ensure you have written adequate test cases to verify design requirements are being met.
Identify and fix bugs that are found within code. Create and maintain databases.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering preferred
Technical certifications preferred.
5 or more years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
Track record of building scalable enterprise solutions.
Experience with the following Windows/Web languages and technologies is required: C#, WPF, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, SOAP, REST.
Experience with SQL Server is required – table design, stored procedures, functions.
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and source control (e.g. Team Foundation/Git)
Experience in interface development with integration/interface engines.
