POSITION SUMMARY: Sr. Software Engineer design, develop, and test software applications, services, and components. Develop enterprise software solutions, service integrations, User Interface (UI) and data. Primarily use Agile methodologies to enable and enhance application refactoring, security, performance tuning and code reviews. Work with team members to guide, complement and complete software development projects, including process improvement. Collaborate with team members, architects, and product development team to deliver enterprise grade software products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• High proficiency with modern software stack(s) to develop enterprise grade application in both cloud and on-prem environments.

• Reviewing user requests for software updates and modifications to ensure optimal performance.

• Building and using reporting assisted software engineering tools to automate some coding.

• Performing all requirements needed for the implementation of automated computer systems from start to finish using code libraries to simplify the writing of code collaborating with software developers in the creation of programs for their organization

• Participate in agile methodologies to plan the work, act as a team player and collaborate with rest of the business.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

• BS Degree in Computer Science or related fields or comparable experience

• 5+ years of enterprise grade application development

• High proficiency with NodeJS + React

• Proficient with SQL Server (T-SQL/MS SQL Server)

• Proficient with Restful APIs and Postman for API Testing

• Core Skills Required: TS, JS and SQL

• Comfortable with Azure Function Apps

• An understanding of synchronous vs asynchronous (Promises, async/await)

• Comfortable with Troubleshooting/debugging JavaScript code locally

• Proficient with Git

• knowledge of GraphQL

• Unit Testing (Jest or other frameworks)

• Comfortable with Agile concepts and Scrum methodologies

• Application Insights (or some other APM solution)

• Growth Mindset

• Collaborative problem-solving ability and self-motivated

Hours Required: 40 hours a week, occasional evenings and weekends may be required
