Opportunity:

At ODIN Diagnostics, we are on a mission to redefine concussion diagnostics in sports with our innovative technology. As we develop our cutting-edge concussion diagnostic headset, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in building and enhancing our software platform. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging our software that integrates seamlessly with the ODIN headset and its communication with our cloud-based application. This includes creating new features, components, shared libraries, and APIs to ensure robust functionality and user experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

Design and develop a robust software platform for our first product-ODIN
Collaborate closely with our partners and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of software with the related hardware components.
Produce clean, maintainable code that adheres to object-oriented principles, ensuring readability and testability.
Gather product requirements through collaboration with cross-functional teams, including partners, to ensure alignment with user needs and industry standards.
Optimize software performance and resource utilization to minimize impact on users and devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to both software functionality and hardware integration.
Stay updated on the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry trends relevant to software development and healthcare applications.
Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and knowledge base articles to support users and team members.
Implement effective test automation strategies to maintain a high level of quality in our CI/CD pipeline, enabling rapid deployment of software updates.
Serve as a mentor and role model for junior engineers, helping them grow and develop their skills.
Define and set the strategy for the future development of ODIN's software platform, including ongoing collaboration with partners and hardware teams for continuous improvement.

Must Have Skills:

Strong proficiency in .NET development, including C# and the .NET Framework/Core.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with computer vision and machine learning technologies.
Experience deploying software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to write simple, readable, testable and efficient code.
Mastery in an object oriented design using programming languages such as, C#, Python, Ruby, etc.
Experience with relational database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server and non-relational systems such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.
Experience with web communication protocols such as REST, gRPC or SOAP

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with developing applications for VR headsets
Experience with building applications in the MedTech space
Experience with Amazon Web Services
