Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust AWS framework, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices and compliance standards, particularly those required for FedRAMP, DoD RMF, and other Federal government initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain a secure and scalable AWS infrastructure.
Apply DevSecOps principles to integrate security at every phase of the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
Implement and manage security tools and technologies relevant to FedRAMP and DoD RMF compliance.
Automate security processes to ensure efficient and consistent application of security measures.
Continuously monitor the AWS environment to detect and respond to security incidents.
Provide guidance and support for cloud security best practices within the organization.
Stay updated with the latest security trends, tools, and technologies, especially those pertinent to federal government regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a DevSecOps role, with a focus on AWS.
Strong knowledge and experience with AWS services and architecture.
Familiarity with security tools and technologies, especially those used for FedRAMP, DoD RMF, and other Federal government initiatives.
Experience with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Certification Preferences:

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
AWS Certified Security – Specialty
Any relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
