We are seeking a skilled IT Administrator for a one year contract with potential of renewal and/or conversion. In this role, you will collaborate with a small, focused team to migrate servers and applications to the client's Data Center. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in server migration and administration, a team-oriented attitude, and the ability to create technical documentation.

Responsibilities:

Migrate servers and applications as part of integration projects.
Ensure successful integration into client's Data Center environment.
Work with various server hardware platforms, hypervisors, and backup solutions.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions during migrations.
Document technical processes and configurations to support ongoing operations.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and deliver results on time.

Required Skills and Experience:

Windows Server Operating Systems: Strong experience with Server 2012 and newer versions.
Server Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with Dell, HP, Cisco, IBM systems, and console access tools such as HPE ILO, Dell IDRAC, IBM IMM, and IPMI.
Virtualization Expertise: Understanding of hypervisors like VMware (preferred), Hyper-V, or Nutanix.
Backup Solutions: General knowledge of tools such as Networker and Commvault.
NAS/Storage Systems: Basic familiarity with Synology or similar storage solutions.
Active Directory: Understanding of domains, users, and related management.
Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Technical Documentation: Ability to produce clear, detailed technical documents.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with server migrations or data center operations.
VMware certification or relevant hands-on experience.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
