Job Title: Junior Network Administrator
Location New Braunfels, Texas
Schedule: HYBRID 2 days on site 3 days remote

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Network Infrastructure Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling first-line troubleshooting in the realm of network infrastructure, performing administrative tasks, and participating in an on-call rotation. This role involves working closely with the help desk to manage tickets through ServiceNow and following established playbooks for most tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first line of defense for network infrastructure issues.
- Handle first-line troubleshooting and resolve network-related problems.
- Perform various administrative tasks related to network management.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support as needed.
- Manage and resolve tickets received from the help desk using ServiceNow.
- Follow established playbooks for troubleshooting and administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Knowledge of subnetting.
- Understanding of the OSI network layer model.
- General professional demeanor.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- 2-4 years of experience working in networking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Visio.
- Experience with ServiceNow or Remedy ticketing systems.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- CCNA certification.
- CompTIA Network+ certification.
- Associate's degree in IT or Computer Science, or equivalent experience (2-4 years).
- Basic experience with Dell, Arista, Aruba, or Cisco networking equipment.
