The Cybersecurity GRC Team is responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing the organization’s Information Technology (IT) risk management program; conducting audits and assessments of CoStar Group’s IT and product environments; and supporting internal and external audits of the company’s IT environment. In this role, you will design and conduct internal reviews and audits of the Company’s IT controls; facilitate and enhance the company’s IT risk management program; and oversee third parties engaged to support the company’s cybersecurity program.
CoStar Group’s Cybersecurity Team resides within the company’s Technology department. This position can be located in Washington, DC or Richmond, VA and offers a schedule of three days onsite, two days remote.
Responsibilities
- Perform assessments, tests, and reviews related to the company’s IT Risk Management program
- Identify process enhancements and use change management to facilitate timely implementation
- Be a technical resource for the GRC team both internally and interfacing with other technical teams
- Conduct risk management activities with business stakeholders across CoStar Group
- Track and monitor document requests, implementation activities, and milestones and schedules.
- Develop presentations and reporting for executive, management, and committee meetings
- Interact with third party stakeholders and respond to external requests
You Will Work On The Following Technologies
- Leading GRC Solutions such as RSA Archer, One Trust, and MetricStream
- Leading Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Solutions such as Microsoft Purview, Nightfall, and Symantec
- Work along CoStar’s Cybersecurity Threat Management, Defensive, and Offensive teams.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college preferably in Accounting, Business, or Computer Science
- 4 years of relevant work experience
- 2 years professional working experience configuring, maintain, tracking, or auditing technical controls of a system and/or process.
- 2 years of GRC experience including familiarity with: Risk management; Corporate policies and related documentation; Risk governance; SOC1, SOC2, SOX, and PCI-DSS accreditations; and/or, internal controls, specifically those contained in the ISO-27000 series and NIST 800-53
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills
- A background in IT or Systems Administration roles or similar jobs that require attention to technical details would be a good fit.
- A track record of commitment to prior employees.
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
- Background in systems administration such as Identity and Access Management of Active Directory groups at scale. Ability to audit permission structures and validate proper change control.
- Experience in SQL, PowerShell, Python, Excel scripting and/or Microsoft BI
- Relevant certifications such as CPA, CIA, PMP, CRISC, CRMP, CISM, and/or CISA

This position offers a base salary range of $89,900-$154,000 based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous benefits plan.
