Staffing Pros, a division of VETS Inc., is recruiting for a full-time Cyber Systems Engineer. This position will work a rotating hybrid schedule in either Rosslyn, VA or Beltsville, MD. WEEK 1 - 2 days onsite, 3 days remote WEEK 2 - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. An Active Secret clearance is required for this role.

- Azure Cloud Administration
- Manage and optimize Azure resources storage, networking, compute, and Identity Access Management (IAM). Architect, deploy, and optimize Azure cloud solutions, implementing security best practices and compliance protocols.
- Terraform Proficiency
- Modify and work with Terraform modules for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments.
- Application Migration
- Lead migration projects of on-premises applications and servers to Azure, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Systems Administration Experience
- Solid background in IT systems administration or systems engineering with exposure to Cisco, VMware, clusters, and server management.
- Version Control and Automation
- Utilize GIT for version control; implement automation using Ansible and Azure DevOps.
- Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell and Bash for process automation.
- Overall
- Proven experience in cybersecurity operations, specifically with Cribl, Azure, and ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and incident management workflows.
- Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks and data analytics methodologies.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5 Years of Experience with Bachelors Degree; 3 Years with Masters, 0 Years with PhD
- Current Department of State experience required
- One of the following certifications
- CISSP - ISSAP
- CISSP - ISSEP
- Must have the ability to obtain an active Secret clearance.
- Able to start with an Interim Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
