We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to oversee and maintain our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our network systems, supporting the seamless operation of business activities.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain network performance by troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Install, configure, and support hardware, software, and network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, breaches, and vulnerabilities.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure optimal network performance.
- Monitor network traffic and analyze system logs to identify potential issues or threats.
- Maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for network configurations.
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve connectivity issues.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technology and systems into the network.
- Document network configurations, processes, and updates to maintain detailed records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in managing network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with network monitoring tools and systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with security best practices and tools for network protection.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
