We’re seeking a highly skilled Network & Systems Engineer for our client; an industry-leading sports and entertainment company. This job will require daily on-site work in both their Washington D.C. Headquarters as well as their event center. This person will primarily work on their Network / Firewalls and Systems / Server Administration, but ideally should be able to contribute to desktop support as well. Any experience with broadcast engineering and knowledge of ST 2110 and network level video is a nice to have but not required. Aside from technical abilities, this person should be a go-getter who loves contributing in a dynamic / fast paced live entertainment environment. No sponsorship or 3rd parties at this time.
Job Title: Network & Systems Engineer
Location: Washington D.C. – local candidates only (5 days / week on-site work required on a rotational basis that includes nights and weekends)
Required Technology And Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in a 24/7 WAN high up-time environment
- Experience with Arista Networks
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
- Ability to work with Windows Servers and WindowsOS
- Capable of working with VMWare
- Experience working with Office365, Active Directory, and related Microsoft products
Additional Skills
- Broadcast engineering experience and knowledge of ST 2110 and network level video
- Capable of working with Linux systems and servers as needed
- Experience with Cisco Networks
- Experience with SonicWall Firewalls
- Prior experience working at live events
Compensation: Salary will be based on experience with a range of $110,000 - $125,000
