Position Summary
JetBlue is embracing an innovative anti-fraud fusion approach, merging cybersecurity with antifraud processes to combat fraud in the airline industry. We are seeking a skilled business analyst with experience in process design, data analysis, and project management to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will operate at the intersection of data, investigations, and technology, leveraging your ability to design workflows, manage projects, and utilize data to create new methods for detecting, investigating, and preventing fraud. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in metrics-based analysis, data visualization, and process improvement frameworks, coupled with a passion for combating fraud. Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R is highly desirable for success in this role.

Essential Responsibilities
- Assess current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and document process gaps.
- Use data-driven approaches to measure process performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Design end-to-end processes that align with business objectives and meet stakeholder needs.
- Develop models to assess and quantify fraud risk.
- Write comprehensive business and technical requirements for process implementation.
- Understand how data across IT, products, cyber security and financial data can achieve specified business outcomes across multiple types of fraud.
- Collaborate across various teams to design effective fraud and anti-fraud metrics.
- Develop documentation, diagrams, and project plans to help guide anti-fraud initiatives.
- Continuously adapt to new fraud schemes and produce additional anti-fraud detection and prevention strategies.
- Track the effectiveness of anti-fraud initiatives, using analytics and performance metrics.
- Generate regular reports to update stakeholders and business leadership.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in anti-fraud measures.
- Recommend adjustments and enhancements to policies, tools, and strategies based on knowledge and experience.
- Develop materials and resources to educate on anti-fraud practices and policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with the combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience.
- One (1) year of data analytics experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to use data to identify trends, patterns and anomalies, and make data-driven recommendations for new initiatives.
- Experience developing key performance indicators (KPIs), key risk indicators (KRIs), dashboards and managerial metrics to deliver the value of Business Intelligence to department or company-level leadership.
- Ability to work well with others and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Preferred Experience And Qualifications
- Two (2) years of data analytics experience.
- Develop data queries to extract, model, analyze, and summarize large volumes of data.
- Conduct detailed analysis and create automation to identify potential fraud, improve efficiency and discover patterns and trends.
- Past experience in anti-fraud analysis, investigations or cyber crime.
- Experience building queries across multiple data sets with languages such as (but not limited to SQL).

- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $68,000.00 and $112,000.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, as well as access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
