Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
Overview: The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for managing the organization's global network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls. The role requires ensuring that all network devices are up-to-date with the latest firmware and security patches. The engineer will support a large, distributed enterprise network, optimizing performance and ensuring security across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain a geographically distributed network, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and SD-WAN.
- Possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with networking technologies such as switching, routing, perimeter security, DNS, and DHCP.
- Evaluate and analyze network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal operation.
- Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot a complex network environment.
- Diagnose and resolve network performance issues and address security infrastructure concerns.
- Effectively communicate technical information to both technical team members and non-technical stakeholders.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously from initial design to final implementation.
- Collaborate with software vendors to resolve issues and implement new features and infrastructure improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 6 to 8 years of experience in network technology infrastructure, including design, implementation, and operations.
- Proven experience configuring, maintaining, and deploying network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi APs).
- Solid understanding of L2/L3 protocols such as VLANs, STP/RSTP, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
- In-depth knowledge of communication and routing protocols used in enterprise environments.
- Extensive experience with network analysis, monitoring, and alerting tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to routing and switching.
- Experience with 802.1x radius authentication and ClearPass.
- Familiarity with certificate and PKI infrastructures.
- Ability to design, write, and update network documentation and diagrams.
- Experience managing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Oracle Cloud) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and teamwork abilities.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- U.S. Person status required due to compliance with U.S. export control laws.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with managing Cisco, Aruba, and Palo Alto Enterprise Networks.
- Certifications in Cisco, Palo-Alto, CompTIA Network+, or other networking technologies.
- Experience supporting LAN, WAN, SDWAN, and VPN networks within a VMware, NetApp, and multi-server environment.
- Expertise in TCP/IP switching and routing, Ethernet cabling, and high-density bandwidth environments.
- Experience with configuring and deploying Cisco switches, Palo Alto firewalls, and Aruba access points.
- Proficiency with VPN technologies (e.g., Global Protect).
- Strong understanding of server architecture and networking.
- Familiarity with Authentication and Access Control technologies.
Educational Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
