About Us: Everon is a leading organization in commercial security sector and is dedicated to providing innovative solutions and services to our clients. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage complex networks with a focus on Azure and GCP cloud as well as on-prem networking.
- Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs).
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
- Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team.
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
- Expertise in Azure and GCP cloud networking.
- Expertise in Palo Alto, Meraki, and Cisco technologies.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Experience with network security and firewall management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, Azure Network Engineer) are a plus.
