Job Summary:
The e-Discovery Coordinator works with General Counsel’s Office (GCO) attorneys, auditors, paralegals, and outside counsel providing support with evidence management, review support, and production support on GCO's more complex litigation, regulatory and internal investigation matters. The Project Coordinator will collaborate directly with the Discovery Services team in Forensics and other internal teams to provide strategic direction, management and oversight of Discovery services on individual matters to ensure that all e-discovery operational tasks and goals are met
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for status calls with matter team to discuss matter strategy, activity, and deadlines.
- Responsible for creating processing and productions requests and coordinating with the Discovery Service Team for execution of operational tasks and coordination of custom workflows.
- Responsible for quality and oversight of matter activities to ensure compliance with EY standards and industry best practices.
- Responsible for matter and portfolio level reporting and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and triage issues as they arise
- Responsible for matter archival
To qualify, candidates must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of discovery experience.
- Strong experience with the following suite of discovery tools: Relativity and Brainspace.
- Strong project management skills to properly balance multiple projects and competing priorities and project deadlines, and strong written and oral communication skills needed to work with engagement teams.
- Solid attention to detail to help manage and oversee quality of the services provided by the e-discovery operations team.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and triage issues as they arise
- Experience working directly with clients on complex discovery matters and portfolios
- Demonstrated experience in the Discovery lifecycle including document collection, evidence management, processing, review and production.
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral to manage both internal operations staff and collaborate with engagement team members, clients, and outside counsel.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects and responsibilities while under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal operations staff to manage deadlines and accomplish project objectives
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Familiarity with fundamentals of the United States (US) legal system.
- Excellent computer skills in the Office Suite (primarily Word and Excel and/or Access.)
- Strong knowledge of the Firm's auditing standards and internal policies and procedures
- Industry related certifications such as but not limited to: Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA)

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $61,900 to $112,300. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $74,300 to $127,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
