As a Cloud System Administrator on our team, you will use your experience to help our clients solve critical IT challenges that help reduce the speed to mission of critical applications and services to our nation’s intelligence systems. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining Linux server systems
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, or testing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and using tools, including EC2, S3, ELBs, RDS, VPCs, security groups, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, or IAM permissions
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Ansible and Terraform
- Experience working with development teams across the software development life cycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
- Experience developing, configuring, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools, including Jenkins
- Experience assessing security vulnerabilities in software and systems, recommending appropriate mitigations, performing periodic vulnerability scans, implementing vulnerability mitigations, and validating and reporting on vulnerability monitoring, mitigations, and policy compliance
- Ability to monitor system dashboards, balance priorities to independently execute operations support processes, and accurately follow and update existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date
Nice If You Have:
- Experience working with microservices and containerization, including orchestration, cluster management, and container storage, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher
- Experience with networking, system administration, Linux, or Cloud Engineering
- Experience supporting a Help Desk
- Experience with Jira Service Desk or incident management and request fulfillment tools
- Possession of excellent customer support, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
