Job Description:
This job is responsible for performing more complex analysis aimed at improving portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting, and operational performance for consumer products and related divisions, such as credit cards. Key responsibilities include applying knowledge of multiple business and technical-related topics and independently driving strategic improvements, large-scale projects, and initiatives. Job expectations include working with business counterparts within the Line of Business and partner organizations including Risk and Product teams.
This role is responsible for conducting analysis of model output, portfolio data, transaction flows, and account profitability to evaluate pricing scenarios and to identify economic opportunities related to the consumer portfolio while considering corporate objectives and constraints. This is a great opportunity to apply analytical and visual skills to the largest Consumer Bank portfolio in the industry. Products include Consumer Vehicle Lending, Mortgages, HELOC, and Deposits. The ideal candidate will be an expert SQL and Tableau developer with great data and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:
- Performs complex analysis of financial models, market data, financial data, and portfolio trends to understand product performance and improve portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting, and operational performance
- Coaches and mentors peers to improve proficiency in a variety of systems and serves as a subject matter expert on multiple business and technical-related topics
- Identifies business trends based on economic and portfolio conditions and communicates findings to senior management
- Supports execution of large scale projects, such as platform conversions or new project integrations by conducting advanced reporting and drawing analytics based insights
Required Qualifications:
- Private side
- SQL and Tableau developer with at least 5 years of experience building code/workbooks
- Strong database administration skills
- Excellent query skills across a variety of platforms
- Ability to assist staff with Tableau and data requests or troubleshooting
- Ability to generate views and reports for executive level presentations
- Ability to think strategically and tactically to drive product success
- Ability to form strong partnerships with key stakeholders and work with them on initiatives; hold accountable when needed
- Detail-oriented, self-starter who takes initiative, works independently, and escalates issues or concerns effectively
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to confidently present to senior leaders
- Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others to drive execution or approval of strategic recommendations
- Ability to work with large amounts of data and deliver fast insights
- Strong problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Consumer and Small Business products preferred, in particular deposits, but also mortgages, home equity, vehicle lending, small business, card
