Within the AWS Global Sales (AGS) organization, World Wide Field Enablement (WWFE) is seeking a Field Enablement leader to partner with North America's business leaders and other key stakeholders to define and execute against our Field Enablement priorities.
The successful candidate has experience working in teams with strong strategic and operational capabilities. They will be an expert in working backwards from stakeholder needs, developing strong relationships with business leaders and working in a cross functional matrix environment. Additionally, they will possess the ability to take initiative to complete complex tasks and projects quickly and independently, lead with urgency for situations that require quick turnaround, switch gears at a moment's notice, take effective action without knowing the full picture, and use data to measure success and adjust program execution.
Key job responsibilities
- Translate business priorities and AWS customer requirements into a sales enablement plan and execute the plan
- Perform detailed need assessments to develop, and lead the successful execution of cross-functional programs in conjunction with key stakeholders
- Design and implement metrics to measure enablement programs and its impact, and effectiveness
- Review and manage existing content library to determine opportunities for improving the learning experience, and ensure that the content is current, relevant and leverages best tools and technology
- Continuously assess the opportunities and readiness gaps. Work with appropriate stakeholders and global resources to quickly develop and implement the right initiatives and programs
- Leverage tools & technology for ease of adoption and scalability
- Invent and simplify by identifying productivity barriers

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in stakeholder management and strengths in presenting to senior leadership
- 5+ years of experience working in Enablement, Adult Learning or Professional Services in a large, complex organization
- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
- Success in Sales, Pre-sales, or Sales Excellence role in growing organizations
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and managing internal stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
