Job Description:
The Third Party Business Continuity & Operational Resiliency (TP-BCOR) organization is responsible for risk management for third parties/vendors who provide critical services to the bank through TP-BCOR Exit Strategy Planning. Third Party is a unique space with high regulator visibility in an ever-changing world of risks and real world geo-political events. More specifically, TP-BCOR delivers an effective control environment to ensure the continuity of third party/vendor critical services by validating Third Party adherence to Bank of America’s business continuity requirements and ensures Bank of America is prepared against Third Party/Vendor disruptions. As a control function TP-BCOR partners with the Lines of Business and other Enterprise functions such as Global Third Party Program (GTPP) (aka “procurement” / vendor management) to ensure that TP-BCOR Exit Strategy Plans are documented and at the ready to meet both internal and regulatory requirements.

Role Overview:
This role will be an individual contributor within the Third Party Business Continuity organization that is responsible for ensuring Bank preparedness against Third Party disruptions. Teammate will be responsible for supporting and executing against processes within the end-to-end Third Party Exit Strategy Planning program by engagement, enablement, and performing quality assurance reviews of Exit Strategy Plans (ESP) written by lines of businesses and owning various projects and workstreams. This teammate will develop and maintain strong relationships across Enterprise Resiliency and Lines of Business Third Party oversight programs. The successful candidate will interact with many different partners from Enterprise Vendor Managers, Procurement, Business Continuity (BC) Executives, and other BC partners to drive adherence to enterprise-wide and third party business continuity standards.
Job responsibilities will include:
- Monitor/Engage lines of business and program operational areas for Third Party Exit Strategy Planning and related processes
- Performs QA activities on documented Exit Strategy Plans including executing on controls, managing quality issue responses, and reporting results
- Develop and maintain strong relationships across Enterprise Resiliency and lines of business Third Party oversight programs
- Executes initiatives by identifying areas of potential automation or other process improvements, procedural updates, thematic trends, QA checklist updates, and coaching opportunities to enhance program success
- As a control function, monitor data quality controls and metrics of lines of business
- Support enhancement of third party requirements in Third Party Exit Strategy (TPES) System of Record (SOR)
- Support effective process and technology changes
- Support program training (engagement/enablement) for lines of business
- Monitor and/or manage third party metrics and dependencies

Required Qualifications:

Desired Qualifications:
- Industry experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and Review
- Foundational knowledge or experience with the Third Party Program / Global Procurement / Vendor Management

- Working knowledge of SharePoint
Minimum Education Requirement: BS/BA or 2+ years relevant working experience
