As a Senior Network Engineer, you will define and coordinate strategies for deploying and maintaining the company’s network and voice/telephony architectures, and its associated hardware, software, and services. This includes but is not limited to projects for VoIP initiatives, WAN networks, Wireless LAN networks, and network managed services. You will also lead and coach a team of network engineers in support of the company’s network and voice initiatives. In addition, you will set service level agreements for all organizational IP/telephony applications, network communications, and vendors.
What you’ll do:
Mentor network technical team and coordinate, maintain, and monitor complex infrastructure projects, including the installation of the network SW & HW
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting on all telecom/network issues, services, programs for all locations
Provide guidance and thought leadership on all telecom team projects, while gaining consensus and evaluating overall project impact to all stakeholders
Coordinate with hosting companies, network/voice service providers, IT teams on installation and maintenance of the company’s VoIP voice/data/Wireless/LAN/WAN network, including Firewalls, and Network Security
Set networking and voice standards and select networking technologies and vendors for the Company
Create and maintain appropriate documentation for infrastructure projects including technology evaluation, change management, and hardware/software upgrades/rollouts

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience
Minimum of 5 years in Telecommunications and Networking projects or support
Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills
Strong knowledge of WAN/LAN, firewalls and network security
Strong knowledge of PC OS, network protocols including: TCP/IP, IP routing, BGP, AVPN, PPP, VOIP including wireless standards, and security protocols at all levels of the OSI model
Ethernet, ATM, MPLS, and IP technologies
Cisco AWFSS, CCNA and CCVP Certifications
Proficient in MS Word and Excel
