As we expand our operations, we are in search of a motivated and skilled DevOps Consultant to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive client engagements, identifying opportunities and delivering state-of-the-art solutions in alignment with industry best practices.
- Assess client requirements and implement tailored DevOps strategies, ensuring technology selections meet business goals.
- Steer clients through the process of cloud adoption and advanced technology strategies, embracing a transformative IT approach.
- Work alongside client development teams to ensure transparency throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Design and develop innovative solutions, architecture designs, and proof of concepts to illustrate the potential of digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure project delivery meets established timelines, budget constraints, and scope.
- Contribute to the creation of marketing content and partner initiatives, including sales materials, blog articles, podcasts, and workshops.
- Mentor junior team members, promoting their professional growth and development.
- Stay abreast of industry trends by maintaining certifications and attending relevant technology events.
Required Skills
- Bilingual in French and English is a significant advantage.
- Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Enterprise or Anthos Clusters.
- Proficient in container and Kubernetes hardening, emphasizing security best practices.
- Expertise in HashiCorp Vault Enterprise for secure secret management and encryption in complex settings.
- Knowledgeable in troubleshooting GitHub Actions and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in configuring, deploying, and maintaining container orchestration platforms, including Kubernetes, EKS, OCP, GKE, and AKS.
- 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC), automation, and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Octopus Deploy, AWS Config, and Azure Automation.
- Hands-on experience with secrets management solutions like KMS, HSMs, and HashiCorp Vault Enterprise.
- Proficient in source control management (SCM) tools, including Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
- Familiarity with API management platforms such as Apigee-X, Postman, AWS API Gateway, and Azure API Management.
- Strong foundation in technical infrastructure (both cloud and on-premise), including systems design, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in Software Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a DevOps role.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Proficiency in coding and scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash, and TypeScript.
