Job Title: Network Security Analyst
Location: Off Tamiami Trail, Naples, FL 34112
Salary: $70K (Junior) - $85K (Senior)
Overview:
We are seeking a Network Security Analyst to join our team under the direction of the Senior IT Director. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining and implementing security standards and best practices while supporting core IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Cisco products and network security, with the ability to contribute both technically and procedurally to the organization’s security posture.
The role is tailored to the experience and skills of the candidate, offering opportunities to influence the maturation of the security environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Network Engineer and IT Director to maintain and implement security standards, risk assessments, and procedures related to information services, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
- Monitor and analyze data logs and alerts from security tools (e.g., data loss prevention, data movement) and escalate incidents as necessary.
- Serve as a primary technical contact for information security concerns, escalating complex issues when required.
- Communicate security developments, incidents, and updates to relevant personnel with clarity and urgency.
- Research emerging security technologies to improve organizational security measures.
- Participate in technical audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Perform root cause analysis for security incidents, updating procedures and controls to prevent recurrence.
- Assist in establishing and improving security processes and procedures.
Technical Environment:
- Cisco Security Suite: FTD Firewall (managed by FMC), Stealthwatch, ISE, Meraki, and AMP (Secure Endpoint).
- Network Infrastructure: Cisco routers and switches, Cisco Umbrella (DNS, SWG/SIG).

Qualifications:
- Required Certifications: CCNA (Junior level) or CCNP (Senior level).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco products including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of firewall security and network security principles.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and respond to security alerts and incidents.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- For Senior-level candidates: experience in developing and enhancing security processes and procedures is preferred.
