ROSEN USA, based in Houston, TX seeks to employ a
Head of Information Technology that can lead an IT team specialized in computers and related fields and is also familiarized with different IT related developments.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized and enjoy the challenges of supporting an office. The ability to interact with staff in a fast paced environment, under occasional pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and optimize the evolution of IT services/products
- Monitor the market developments and technologies to identify potential optimization for the service/product
- Identify and understand customer needs and ensure that the services/products match them
- Be informed about activities and interfaces within and to other services/products
- Initiate, schedule and coordinate IT projects within the predicted cost, time and quality
- Generate requirement specifications and coordinate all necessary tasks in cooperation with the customer, delivering departments and external service provider.
- Analyze and Monitor the service/product quality, usage and efficiency
- Creating and maintaining the service roadmap and service level reporting
- Provide assistance and knowledge transfer in terms of support, documentation and trainings
- Supervise the performance of the local ROSEN USA network and servers
- Promote and publish information on IT Security Awareness, teach classes, create IT announcements
- Manage IT contracts including data, telephone and office copiers
- Development of IT documentation (user manuals, policies and procedures, quality checklists and procedural manuals)
- Manage the local IT Team
Requirements
Physical Demands:
- Mainly sedentary work
- Must be able to assemble/disassemble IT equipment, e.g. computer desktops, monitors, servers etc. lift up to 20 lbs.
Qualification or Skills:
Knowledge and Skills requirements:
- Must possess a good understanding of Microsoft Enterprise products (i.e. Exchange, Active Directory)
- Must possess a good understanding of Microsoft Office Products & SharePoint
- Experience in managing servers, proficient in networking
- Experience and working knowledge with a multi-line phone system preferably Cisco Call Manager
- Must have the ability to work well with others/as a member of a team
- Great communication skills, verbally and written
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management and other co-workers within the organization
- Excellent customer service skills
Education / Experience:
- Bachelors degree with emphasis in Information Technology
- 5+ years experience managing an IT department
- Microsoft Certification credentials or similar a plus
- Strong analytical skills, good judgment, proven problem solving abilities
- Ability to multi-task, highly organized, detail orientated and works with a high degree of accuracy.
