Job Title: SecOps Engineer

Security Clearance Required
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage security measures for cloud-based environments on Azure and AWS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance security operations strategies and processes.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents, ensuring effective remediation and root cause analysis.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage penetration testing to ensure robust security posture.
- Create and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans and security policies.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in cybersecurity and cloud security.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and security standards.
- Support secure system development lifecycle processes, including risk management and mitigation strategies.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Active Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one promptly.
- Proven hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
- Strong knowledge of security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP).
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM solutions, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Proficient in scripting and automation for security tasks (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- U.S. citizenship required due to government client requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
- Experience working in hybrid cloud environments.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Terraform, and Kubernetes security.
