Job Description
. Configure and manage Blackberry / Good mobility test and production environments
·Create and maintain Infrastructure documentation (architecture diagrams, server builds, policy and application settings, firewall rules)
·Configure policies and delivery groups
·Create and execute change requests
·Lead the testing of upgrades and new products
·Configure and maintain system and ad-hoc reports
·Maintain capacity reports and forecast resource utilization
·Create and maintain support documentation
·Create and maintain end user documentation
·Train other support teams on usage and common tasks
·Work on help desk tickets
·Support after hours work and implementations
·Participate in Tier-3 on-call rotation and proactively monitor e-mail communications
·Maintain SME skillset and close pulse on Mobility space
Qualifications
·Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent computer related field, experience in Financial sector preferred
·A minimum of 5+ years of experience working in a large multi-site enterprise infrastructure environment
·A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience administering / support mobility solutions
·3+ years of relevant, hands-on experience supporting Windows / mobility servers
·Excellent written and verbal communications
·Experience providing comprehensive documentation of system builds and application installations
·Strong understanding of generally accepted system administration methodologies, tools, and techniques, and desire to instill these practices in both individual and teammates’ work
·Understanding of networking and common datacenter infrastructure
·Understanding of working principles, and experience supporting Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft DNS, IIS, Virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware)
·Passion for providing outstanding support for inbound incident tickets, as well as foresight to keep things running smoothly by utilizing monitoring systems such as SCOM
·Ability to communicate to all levels of audience and structure messages in keeping with the listeners experience, background and expectation
·Ability to adapt to a fast paced and ever evolving business and technology landscape
·Ability to organize task and set priorities with minimal supervision while raising awareness to issues or conflicts before it impacts deadlines and goals
·Excellent troubleshooting skills with a scientific approach to problem investigation and resolution
