Penetration Tester
Location: Chantilly, VA (on-site client environment)
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Armison Tech is seeking a Senior Penetration Tester to join our team. The focus will be red teaming computing networks with complex configurations, often with a high cybersecurity posture. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a true black box environment, willing to test their creative knowledge in assessing underlying vulnerabilities and determining how to exploit them.
Job Requirements
- Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance
- Experience with performing grey and black box penetration testing and system exploitation against desktops, servers, applications, operating systems, and security systems to gain root and administrator access for highly specialized network systems
- Experience with performing reconnaissance, privilege escalation persistence, lateral movement, and payload generation against information systems
- Experience with analyzing vulnerabilities and delivering clear and coherent written reporting, identifying network risks and providing mitigation recommendations
- Experience with conducting penetration and malicious user testing in Cloud environments, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and on premise systems
- Experience with translating systems and applications into security test plans and performing hands-on security testing, leveraging adversarial tactics
- Experience with Linux, and Windows, as well as wireless, and virtual platforms
- Knowledge of information security policies and guidance and the ability to assist with researching, evaluating, and developing security policies and guidance
- Knowledge with both open-source and commercial tools (nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, IDA Pro, Encase, etc.)
- Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, proxies, iptables, VPN, IDS/IPS, etc.)
- Ability to program tools (in C or other languages) for use at the driver or kernel level
- Working knowledge of anti-virus products
- BA or BS degree required or equivalent applicable experience
