Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain servers, including but not limited to database, mail, network, and application servers
- Ensure continuous delivery and operation of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of IT systems performance
- Prepare and maintain documentation of infrastructure processes, systems configuration, and network mapping
- Lead infrastructure migration/upgrades projects, from the design through the implementation phase
- Manage virtual and physical servers running both Linux and Windows
- Install and configure network hardware and software, ensuring strong functionality and security
- Plan and implement network security, including building firewalls, managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity
- Troubleshoot network issues with diverse scopes where analysis of situations requires evaluation and judgment
- Participate in negotiation with vendors to secure software products and services
- Plan and assist with the deployment of Microsoft Intune policies and settings
- Assist in mergers and acquisitions which may include technical migrations, administrative migrations, and technical integrations
- Provide technical support and guidance to users and other team members
- Stay current with technological developments in systems administration technology and recommend ways for the company to take advantage of new technology
- Other responsibilities and projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
- 3-5 years of network administration, or system administration experience
- Experience with cloud infrastructure – AWS, Azure

- Network security experience
- LAN and WAN infrastructure experience
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
- Ability to provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selection
