The Opportunity:
The IT Systems Engineer III requires both proven experience, outstanding customer service and personal communication skills. Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- previous managed service provider (MSP) experience, 7+ years hands-on experience
- strong networking knowledge and experience in creating and managing VLANs, routers
- setting up, configuring, troubleshooting Windows servers and workstations, Active Directory, O365
- deep experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, Hyper-V
- experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS
- setting up, configuring firewalls such as Sonicwall, Sophos, Watchguard, Fortinet, Cisco
- experience with RMM (remote monitoring and management) such as Kaseya, ticketing system such as Autotask or Connectwise)
- backup technologies including cloud-based backups such as Datto, Veeam
- provided exceptional customer service and technical expertise on inbound calls and tickets generated by customers
- performed onsite systems, network and security assessments using standard best practices and industry standard tools (ed Network Detective/RapidFire)
- possesses strong leadership, organizational and time-management skills
- results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable and a team player
- sales training/experience is a plus
Ideally you will have one or more of the following certifications:
- CompTIA Net+ and/or CompTIA Security+
- CCNA or CCIE-Cisco certifications a real plus
- Microsoft Certification. Those with Microsoft Azure certifications will be given priority
Work Environment:
Work is performed in our Bellevue office and in client’s sites primarily located in Bellevue, Redmond and Kirkland. Occasionally work may be in the greater Puget Sound area.
