Candidate responsibilities will include:
- Provide En Route & Oceanic Second-Level Engineering (SLE) Mission Support for the automated planning tool DOTS+ utilized for Air Traffic Control (ATC) at Oakland, Anchorage, and New York Air Traffic Control Centers (ARTCCs).
- Monitor and maintain computer hardware and software on operational and test systems
- Make requested modifications to system adaptation
- Maintain Linux antivirus definitions, firewall rules, and operating systems
- Perform Data Reduction and Analysis (DR&A) against system data
- Manage and track software versions
- Requirements analysis
- Maintain DOTS+ Security
- Coordinate and run test activities
- Responsive for site remediation and restoration service for issues (off-shift hours may occur but rarely)
- Documentation to include test plans and procedures, remediation plans and reports, fixes, technical and security documentation, system diagrams, and presentation materials including but not limited to daily/weekly/monthly status reports documenting test activities, project timelines, and any tasks to provide to management and the team.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a Position of Public Trust. Must be a US citizen or three-year permanent resident.
This position currently follows a hybrid schedule. The candidate will be expected to report to the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) in Pomona, NJ at least two (2) days per week or as required.
