- Collaborate with architects and fellow software engineers to identify the best solutions for security challenges.
- Pay special attention to the Quality & Security in all stages of development, which also includes Unit Testing, Validation and Automation of the deliverables.
- Ensure a high degree of security as well as reliability, availability, performance, and scalability of the product.
- Experience in implementing solutions to real security problems. Experience with system architecture, design, testing and implementation.
- Ability to identify security vulnerabilities in the system components or network devices and provide innovative solutions.
- Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
- Experience working with Secure Linux-based servers, troubleshooting Linux boot issues, and providing fixes as required.
- Produce reports and documents in support of system requirements and security certifications and write/contribute to white papers.
- Intimately familiar with Linux OS security processes, issues, and challenges.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Linux system administration, specifically with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Strong knowledge of system security measures, experience with SELinux, and firewall configurations.
- Implement SELinux policies to enhance system security.
- Experience with SELinux implementation and policy management
- Experience evaluating system security based on standard controls (e.g., SELinux)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with remote teams.
- Certifications in RHEL (RHCE, RHCSA), Red Hat Certified Specialist in Security: Linux or similar.
