Job Title: Lead Cyber Architect – II (Computer Network Architect)
The Contractor shall provide and designate a Lead Cyber Range Architect. The Lead Cyber Range Architect shall perform all systems integration work, system management and configuration, operation, testing, and scheduling of the Cyber Program and its ranges. The Contractor shall create, maintain and update event network designs, integrate hardware and software, determine baseline configurations for training classes and cyber exercises, assist with Information Assurance (IA) requirements, and develop and implement range reset procedures. The Contractor shall assist with the development of training scenarios to meet the needs of the partners utilizing the Cyber Program. The Contractor shall maintain and update local design documents and configurations as well as work with government personnel on the evolution of the Cyber Program’s capabilities. Additional Contractor responsibilities shall include but are not limited to conducting training on the Cyber Program’s range usage and configuration and assisting with the implementation of training, exercise, and event virtual enclaves. The Contractor shall have full ownership of the technical operations of the Cyber Program environment and will manage multiple related projects to ensure the overall technical program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
Education:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Network Engineering, or Cybersecurity, or Information Management or related discipline or the minimum experience listed below.
- The Contractor shall meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT II requirements.
Experience:
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience as a Cyber Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Cyber Architect, or similar experience with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the configuration and operation of cyber range or computer test bed environments.
- The Contractor shall possess experience in designing and configuring computer networks including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, active directory, VPNs, VLANs, SANs utilizing bare metal and virtualized systems.
- The Contractor shall possess experience with automation, provisioning, imaging, orchestration, and configuration management.
- The Contractor shall possess experience with Ansible, Chef, Free and Open-source Ghost (FOG), Project, Python, and bash scripting.
- The Contractor shall possess experience with Cloud, Physical, and virtual network architect, engineering, and infrastructure monitoring.
- The Contractor shall possess experience with hypervisors such as VMware, Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM), and Xen.
- The Contractor shall possess experience with Windows enterprise and Linux server / operating systems engineering, and administration with knowledge of network vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and mitigation.
- The Contractor shall possess experience with a wide variety of technology to include camera systems, ICS/SCADA, Internet of Things (IoT), and RF devices.
