Role: IT Infrastructure Analyst

The IT Infrastructure Analyst position is an integral part of the global IT organization for The LYCRA Company, offering the opportunity to work in a challenging, dynamic environment while providing first-line support for various IT infrastructure technologies across multiple sites. Primary responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Supervision and guidance of remote office location IT staff and resources
- Management and collaboration of multiple vendors and managed service providers
- Site specific project and technical implementation and management
- Procure, build, deploy, and troubleshoot technical solutions, including hardware, software, network, and applications.
- Implement networking technology, support our Manufacturing topology, and procure and implement hardware to support the growing needs of the facility
- Serve as IT Infrastructure owner for the Waynesboro, VA site, including liaison/collaboration/escalation with other LYCRA Company and vendor support groups; proactive interfacing with key site leaders and business groups; occasional support/consulting to Process Control Network environments; ensuring appropriate prioritization and response/resolution for all site IT incidents
- Provide global support to multiple locations as needed
- Use and help to establish/improve standardized work processes and procedures
- Occasional travel to nearby company locations (up to 10%)
- Provide extended hours support for critical issues, applications, and infrastructure as needed
- Serve in 24x7 on-call rotation
Qualifications (Required):
- BS or BA College Degree in related IT field
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an IT role for a manufacturing or business environment
- Basic understanding of workstation hardware, Tier 1 workstation software, server technologies, client-side networking, Active Directory and IT Security fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of router, switch, firewall and IP networking fundamentals
- Experience supporting Microsoft operating systems and client software, especially Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, can be assisted.
- Ability and willingness to wear personal safety equipment as required in certain manufacturing areas.
- Willing to work in excess of 8 hour working days, on occasion
- Available to serve in 24x7 on-call rotation, including holidays and weekends as needed
Qualifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft/Cisco certifications
- IT Security certifications
- 5+ years of experience in an IT support role for a manufacturing or business environment
- Experience managing or supporting cloud environments/technologies
- Experience supporting Windows servers, networking devices, wireless endpoints, mobile devices, PBX/VOIP technologies, and related management tools
- Familiarity with or experience in supporting Operational Technology/Process Control Network technologies and tools
