Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for a Systems Administrator to join their team in the Indianapolis, IN area. This successful resource will be responsible for deploying and supporting enterprise grade server, storage, and software solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues as they arise

Responsible for day-to-day operations and availability of LAN/WAN networks
-
Perform daily backup operations
-
Daily system monitoring and regular security monitoring to identify intrusions
-
Apply patches and upgrades
-
Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator

Experience with switches, routers, Windows Server and Active Directory
-
VMWare, MS Exchange, and Cisco environment experience
-
General networking knowledge
-
Working knowledge of LAN/WAN, Firewall Analysis, Design, and Implementation
PREFERRED SKILLS:
-
CCNA or CCNP
-
Experience with storage area networks

Scripting experience
-
Experience managing and configuring firewalls
TERMS:
This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary up to $34/hr based on experience. They offer benefits including medical, dental, and vision along with 401K matching and other benefits.
