Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent experience required.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent experience desired
Minimum of 8 years hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches in a network-engineering role.
Experienced with Cisco Nexus 7000, 5000 and 2000
Knowledge with Cisco UCS and fiber channel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organization skills
Demonstrated network documentation
Experience with ASA firewalls, firewall modules and Internet VPN's.
Good understanding of SNMP and network monitoring tools such as CiscoWorks, MRTG, Netflow, Cacti and Splunk.
Network Security experience with Cisco MARS, CiscoWorks NCM, WCS, LMS, and Cisco Secure ACS.
Experienced with wireless design, secure mobility, and guest access technology, preferably with Cisco Guest NAC appliance.
Understands IPV4 addressing and subnetting, to include RFC 1918 addressing.
In-depth protocol knowledge in the following, MPLS, GRE, QOS, HSRP, VRRP, and Routing protocols like BGP and EIGRP.
Understands and configures external and internal facing DNS systems, Infoblox
Experience with remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution across multiple geographic locations, on low and high-speed terrestrial and satellite facilities, both inside and outside of the Seattle Metropolitan area.
Working knowledge of voice communications and PBX and VOIP fundamentals including QOS, and POE.
Understanding of optimization technologies, Riverbed.
Must be able to climb ladders, lift network equipment overhead.
