Job Summary
In this position, you will support information technology (IT) systems, software, and users.
Install and update computer systems and software, and maintain computer networks, software, and connectivity, troubleshoot for system errors, support all data security, and software and network optimization.
Provide support to fellow coworkers to assist them in using systems, software and devices.
Information Technology Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer network, infrastructure, and data security, including directory, group policy, firewalls, virus protection, and email security.
- Install, configure, and update network equipment, software, and system improvements.
- Monitor servers, LAN/WAN, and Wi-Fi to ensure full coverage.
- Assist with the design, implementation, and support of new hardware, software, and features.
- Evaluate and respond to IT issues, connectivity, hardware maintenance, software matters, networking, etc.
- Provide technical support either by phone, remote access, or site visits and lead troubleshooting for system and software errors.
- Consult with vendors and staff to integrate and update company software and technology.
- Become the company expert for company utilized software programs.
- Ensure system and software availability, performance, optimization, and reliability through continuous improvement procedures.
- Provide IT support, training, and orientation for new technology users and set up software and equipment for new users and employees.
- Assist with maintaining records of hardware and software inventory and recommending replacement schedules.
- Follow and assist in maintaining records of current IT systems, policies, and procedures.
- Follow IT Capital and Operating budgets.
- Follow emergency plans for equipment, power, or security failures when necessary and protect data and security.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to rapidly analyze issues, establish priorities, anticipate consequences, make decisions, root cause analysis, and initiate action.
- Maintain expert knowledge of the industry’s best practices and stay current with advances through industry news and continuing education.
- Background in technology and computer science, with experience maintaining and installing IT systems.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of management and thrive in a cross-functional environment
- Great customer service skills including listening carefully, and exercising patience.
- Uses critical thinking to problem solve and multi-task.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Assist in setting goals for an organization and implementing plans to meet them including researching new technologies and upgrades while weighing costs and benefits.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to talk, type, walk and drive regularly, sit and/or stand for long periods of time, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Qualifications
- Education and experience in an Information Technology related field or equivalent certifications.
- Experience in a hospitality environment preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Personal vehicle may be required for travel from site to site.
Pay starting at $19.00 per hour.
