Capgemini is hiring a GCP Data Engineer to join our I&D team. Some of the requirements as below\:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the architectural design and implementation of end-to-end Google cloud data solutions, data warehouses, and data pipelines.
- Develop and maintain the cloud data strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and technology roadmap.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend new Google service offerings to customer as per best fit
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of data solutions through continuous monitoring and optimization.
- Ensure data solutions comply with security and privacy regulations and best practices.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 4 years in a solution architect role focusing on Google cloud data solutions.
- Delivered at least 2 Multi-Terabyte GCP Data projects
- Should have GCP Data Engineering Certification
- Should have good Knowledge DWH Migration to GCP BigQuery platform
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
- Proven track record to lead and mentor technical teams.
- Strong experience with bigdata technologies like Google BigQuery, Data Transfer service, Pub/Sub, DataFusion, DataProc, DataFlow & Kafka.
- Expertise in data modeling and building Data pipeline in BigQuery
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. Python, SQL).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps
