Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead the design and architecture of complex cloud solutions primarily in Microsoft Azure, considering performance, availability, security, and cost optimization.
- Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and security measures.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines, ensuring seamless application deployments and updates.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) templates using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure efficient utilization, cost-effectiveness, and optimal performance.
- Implement and maintain robust security controls, identity and access management, and compliance standards across cloud environments.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud services, networking, and infrastructure components.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior cloud engineers, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
- Collaborate with cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) to ensure alignment with best practices, access to support, and utilization of latest features.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and operational procedures.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field preferred.
- Must have at least 4 - 6 years of related experience in Information Technology.
- Must have at least 3 – 4 years of experience in Microsoft Azure.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, virtualization, networking, security, and storage. Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
- Experience supporting major infrastructure migration initiatives is preferred.
- Property/casualty insurance background and jewelry industry experience are helpful, but not required.
