The Service Integration Engineering team leads the development and standardization of new platforms, technologies, and services for our Epic Electronic Medical Record Infrastructure and Citrix Virtual Application and Desktop delivery teams. This encompasses deployments across both on-premise and a growing Azure cloud ecosystem. The solutions we develop and standardize are core in the delivery of many of our Clinical and Revenue Cycle applications. Our areas of focus include leading adoption of Cloud (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) services, testing and exploring new platform standards, internal tool development, Automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), We leverage our expertise in these areas to accelerate adoption in these areas across our broader Epic Infrastructure and Citrix/VDI teams.
Senior Cloud Engineers for the Service Integration Engineering team will work with their colleagues in developing these solutions. Engineers in this role perform solution design, architectural review, implement proof-of-concepts, standardize solutions, and develop operational handoff of solutions. In this role you will work with SMEs from other teams in Providence such as Security, Networking, Cloud Engineering, Applications, and Business Intelligence to align solutions and designs with Enterprise standards and drive development forward.

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent educ/experience.
- 5 years of related experience; 5-8 years preferred.
- Good experience leveraging data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Experience in problem solving using systematic procedures and investigating problems utilizing root cause analysis.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in a Healthcare environment.
