Infosys is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Lead Consultant with multiple implementations / support experience, covering all financial functional activities. This position’s primary responsibility will be to work as a lead support member on the AMS program. Under limited supervision, the lead consultant must function as a member of a team and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC). The lead consultant will be accountable in driving activities such as maintenance, patching, upgrades, periodic closing & reporting activities, process improvements, etc. Talent will be responsible for supporting Financials solutions implemented in Oracle Fusion Application, will own configurations, demo of new functionalities to clients and overall implementation of Financials solution/flow (Account Receivables, Account Payables, Revenue management Cloud Services) in Oracle Fusion Applications. Talent will be responsible to provide expertise in supporting industry best practices and customizing the Oracle fusion applications as per client requirements to enable business processes. Person will provide expertise in fusion application configurations as per business requirements, guide technical team to complete system integrations as per business requirements, conduct systems integration testing sessions, user acceptance testing and plan/execute UAT/Production migrations for all enhancements. Person should be conversant with general accounting principles.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of Relevant Information Technology experience.
- Candidate must be able to commute to Atlanta, GA or Birmingham AL or relocate to one of these areas. This position may require 50% travel if you are not from same location as the project.
- Should have excellent hands-on working experience on Oracle fusion applications and deep understanding of Finance offerings and its relevance in Oracle revenue management cloud services.
- Should have at least 2 end to end implementation experience of Oracle Payables, GL and Account receivables process.
- Should be conversant with the best finance practices in context of Oracle technologies like EBS/fusion – should have commanding knowledge over oracle cloud out of box offerings and ability to implement various customizations as per business requirements.
- Should have excellent understanding of integrating fusion applications with external systems using various integrations options like web services, REST APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud platform etc.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Oracle Implementation certification on any of Cloud modules is desired.
Preferred Qualifications:
- It is preferred that candidate has previously worked in US Utility companies and has exposure to business flows of such organizations and regulations on accounting and reporting.
- Should be conversant with Oracle Cloud applications and/or any other ERP system as well.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
