Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
$145-165k DOE plus benefits
This role will not accept visa transfer or C2C
As a Site Reliability Engineer you will be joining an organization that has been steadily growing in the BioTech space. The SRE will be in collaboration with engineers and product professionals in the BioTech field.
In this role you will equally work in Software and Infrastructure building a robust high quality platform.
3 key areas of focus are automation, CI/CD and observability
As a Site Reliability Engineer you will:
- Work with engineering to help deliver reliable code to production
- Design, develop and maintain infrastructure as the org grows
- Create dashboards to monitor performance and scalability
- Build out systems throughout the AWS platform
- Increase repeatability with Automation
- Act as a point of escalation on ticketing issues
To be successful as a Site Reliability Engineer you will:
- Computer Science degree in networking, IT systems or similar work experience
- 6+ years in SRE, Security or DevOps role
- Worked with Cloud Platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with IAC such as Terraform
- Worked end to end in SDLC within a containerized environment
- Worked with Ansible, Python, Puppet
- Experience in BackUp, Storage, Data Protection
- Worked in a regulatory environment (biotech or pharma)
- Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes
