I. Position Description
The Reliability Engineer will be an important part of the engineering team. This role will assess and improve current preventative and predictive maintenance programs at our facility. The scope of work will also include establishing metrics to track and improve various facets of our tools, equipment, and processes, both departmentally, and as an overall plant. The engineer will also conduct a variety of failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and root cause analysis tasks, identifying potential risks to our operations and developing corrective actions. As a continuous operation facility uptime is critical to our business and unplanned downtime must be eliminated. This role will be integral to our continual improvement process and help strengthen the overall viability of our operation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Ensure the reliability of equipment and processes.
•Oversee and expand preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
•Conduct a variety of failure analyses.
•Identify risks to business operations and develop corrective actions.
•Contribute to the continual improvement and lean process journey.
II. Qualifications
•Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or relevant Engineering degree.
•Experience in maintenance engineering, manufacturing, and reliability.
•Data analytics skills.
•Familiarity with Six Sigma methodology.
•Candidates should have experienced in AutoCAD.
•Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
•Ability to work on cross functional teams with a common goal.
•Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
•Self-motivated.
•Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
•Strong MS Office Computer skills.
•Excels in working in team environments.
•Exhibits strong leadership skills.
